Childville School’s ex-pupil wins world Microsoft competition


A former student of Childville School, Ogudu, Katherine Eta has emerged the second runner up in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) world championship held in the United State of America.

The championship is a global competition that tests students’ proficiency in basic computer literacy in line with global standards.

About 1.1million students from 140 countries contested the 2017 MOS world competition in versions 2013 and 2016 of the Microsoft programmes worldwide, while 157 students from 50 countries eventually qualified to compete in the world finals.
