Kaduna State College of Education Shut


The Management of Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, has ordered the closure of the institution with immediate effect following a violent protest by students over an alleged shift in examination date.

A statement issued on Tuesday by Danladi Aduwu, Ag. Head of Information/Public Relation of the college, said the school would remain closed till further notice.

The statement explained that the decision was to ensure the protection of lives and property, and urged all students to vacate the college premises with immediate effect.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the students were not happy over plans to postpone their semester examination scheduled to begin on November 31.

NNPC/CNL JV Pledges Commitment to Quality Education


The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) Joint Venture has expressed its commitment to improving the quality of education in the country.

The Managing Director, CNL, Jeffrey Ewing said this at the award presentation ceremony for the 2018 Awokoya Memorial Chemistry Competition held at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Conference Centre, Effurun, Delta State.

The competition was organised by NNPC/CNL Joint Venture, in partnership with the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and the Delta State Ministry of Education. It was initiated to promote the study of the subject among secondary school students of Delta State and in memory of Stephen Awokoya, a chemistry professor, who died on March 15, 1985.

Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
